Moroccan Chicken and Couscous
A flavorful and aromatic North African-inspired dish featuring chicken, couscous, and spices. Serve hot and enjoy.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds chicken breastboneless and skinless
- β1 cup couscousuncooked
- β2 tablespoons moroccan spice blendavailable at most grocery stores
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor cooking
- β2 cups royal chicken brothchicken broth can be substituted if needed
- βto taste salt and pepper
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breast and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes per side.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet, then add the Moroccan spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add the couscous to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes.

Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the couscous is cooked and fluffy.
