Turkish Lamb Stew

Ingredients
- β1 pound lamb shoulderboneless and cut into 1.5-inch cubes
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 medium carrotspeeled and chopped
- β2 medium potatoespeeled and chopped
- β2 teaspoons cuminground
- β1 teaspoon paprikasweet
- β1 teaspoon saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperto taste
- β2 cups chicken brothlow-sodium

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add lamb and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Add carrots and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Return lamb to the pot and cover with a lid.
