Spicy Chinese Bacon Soup
A hearty and spicy soup made with crispy bacon and Chinese ingredients.
Ingredients
- β4 slices Bacon
- β1 cup, shredded Oozing cheese
- β2 tsp Spicy Chinese chili flakes
- β2 tbsp Miso paste
- β2 cups Vegetable broth
- β1/4 cup Sliced scallions

1. In a large pot, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy.

2. Remove the cooked bacon from the pot and set aside.

3. In the same pot, add the miso paste and stir to combine with the remaining bacon fat.

4. Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

6. Add the shredded oozing cheese and stir until melted.

7. Add the spicy Chinese chili flakes and stir to combine.

8. Add the cooked bacon back into the pot and stir to combine.

9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
