Hunan Bao Stuffed with Spinach and Crisp Vegetables
A fusion of Hunan flavors with the crispy goodness of bao. This recipe is a delightful twist on traditional Chinese cuisine.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons hunan sauce
- β1 cup crisp vegetables (such as carrots, bell peppers)
- β2 cups fresh spinachchopped
- β4 pieces bao dough
- β1 tablespoon water
- β1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

2. Roll out the bao dough and cut into 4 equal pieces.

3. Place 1/4 cup of chopped spinach on each piece of dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.

4. Brush the edges with water and fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle.

5. Press the edges together to seal the bao and cut a small slit on the top to allow steam to escape.
