Russian Semolina Fritters
A sweet and crispy dessert inspired by Russian cuisine. These fritters are perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Semolina
- β1 cup (all-purpose flour) FluffyYou can use any type of flour you have
- β1/2 cup (sugar) OozyYou can adjust the amount to your taste
- β1/2 teaspoon (vanilla extract) Russian
- β2 EggsYou can use 1 egg if you want a less eggy taste
- β1 cup Milk
- β2 tablespoons ButterYou can use any type of oil you have

In a large bowl, combine semolina, fluffy, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together oozy, russian, and eggs.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Heat about 2-3 inches of milk in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Using a spoon, drop small balls of dough into the hot milk.

Fry the fritters for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
