Inari Sushi Rolls
Delicious Japanese sushi rolls filled with sweet tofu pockets, perfect for a quick and easy snack or meal.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Japanese short-grain rice
- β12-15 pouches Inari tofu pouches
- β8 sheets Sushi nori sheets
- β1 tsp Sesame seeds
- β2 tsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Sugar
- β2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β2 cups Water
- β2 tbsp Sushi vinegar
Instructions

Prepare the Japanese short-grain rice according to the package instructions.

Cut the inari tofu pouches into smaller pieces and set aside.

Cut the sushi nori sheets into 8 equal pieces.

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked Japanese short-grain rice and sushi vinegar. Mix well.

Add the soy sauce mixture to the rice and mix well.

Cut the inari tofu pieces in half and place them on the nori sheets, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.

Place a small amount of the Japanese short-grain rice mixture on top of the tofu.

Roll the sushi using a bamboo sushi mat or a clean tea towel.

Repeat the process to create 8 sushi rolls.
