Smoky Croatian Lamb with Orange
A traditional Croatian dish with a smoky twist, featuring lamb and a hint of orange.
Ingredients
- β1.5 kg Lamb shoulderbone-in
- β2 Orangejuiced
- β2 tsp Smoked paprikasmoky flavor
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 tsp Saltto taste
- β0.5 tsp Black pepperto taste
- β2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oilfor cooking

Preheat oven to 150Β°C (300Β°F).

Season the lamb with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Heat the olive oil in a large bowl over medium heat.

Sear the lamb on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the lamb to the preheated oven and roast for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, brush the lamb with orange juice and continue roasting for another 30 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Strain the pan juices and serve with the lamb.
