Northern Irish Christmas Pudding
A traditional Northern Irish dessert made with a twist of miso giving it a rich and savory flavor. Perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Mixed dried fruits
- β2 tbsp Miso pasteadds a savory twist to the traditional pudding
- β1 cup Brown sugar
- β4 Eggs
- β1 cup All-purpose gluten-free flourmake sure to choose a gluten-free flour blend
- β2 tbsp Irish whiskeyoptional, but adds a nice depth of flavor
- β1 cup Glazed cherriesdried or fresh, whichever you prefer

Preheat the oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried fruits, miso paste, brown sugar, eggs, and flour.

Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Add the Irish whiskey, if using, and stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bake the pudding for 25-30 minutes, or until it's firm to the touch and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once the pudding has cooled, top it with the glazed cherries.
