Smoked Monkfish Tagliere
A flavorful dish that combines the delicate taste of monkfish with the rich flavors of smoked dutch cheese.
Ingredients
- β4 Monkfish filletsFresh and of good quality
- β1 block Smoked Dutch cheeseCrumbly and well-aged
- β1 loaf Tagliere breadCrusty and suitable for grating
- β3 cloves Roasted garlicMince before using
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyFor garnish
- β4 Lemon wedgesFor serving

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the monkfish fillets with salt and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roasted garlic: peel the garlic cloves and place them on a piece of aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil and fold to create a packet. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the garlic is soft and mashed.

Sprinkle the smoked Dutch cheese crumbles over the monkfish fillets.

Bake the monkfish in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.

While the monkfish is baking, toast the tagliere bread slices until crispy.

Remove the monkfish from the oven and top each fillet with a spoonful of roasted garlic.

Serve the monkfish on top of the toasted bread slices, garnished with chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.
