Peppadew and Pepper Catalana Tart
A flavorful and spicy tart originating from the Spanish cuisine, perfect for a dinner or snack.
Ingredients
- ●1 package Pastry doughhomemade or store-bought
- ●4 Peppadew peppersroasted
- ●2 Bell peppersany color
- ●1 Onionchopped
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp Tomato pastehomemade or store-bought
- ●1 cup Catalana cremaor substitute with heavy cream
- ●1/2 cup Grated cheeseManchego or Parmesan

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pastry dough and place it in a tart pan.

In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.

Add the roasted Peppadew peppers and bell peppers to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Spread the cooked vegetable mixture evenly over the pastry dough.

Drizzle the Catalana crema over the vegetables.

Top with grated cheese.

Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
