Vietnamese Tofu Che
A delicious and easy-to-make dessert inspired by Vietnamese cuisine, featuring a silky tofu che topped with fresh fruit.
Ingredients
- β250g tofu
- β150g sugar
- β500ml water
- β2g agar agar
- β100g mau
- β200ml coconut milk
- β5g salt
- β50g che
- β20g ba
- β fresh fruit (optional)
Instructions

Soak agar agar in water for at least 10 minutes.

Combine sugar, coconut milk, and salt in a saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

Add tofu and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in agar agar mixture and cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Add mau, che, and ba. Stir until well combined.

Pour mixture into individual serving cups.

Chill in the oven (set to 150Β°F) for at least 4 hours.
