Pan-Seared Lamb Tagine
A paleo-friendly, keto-compliant dish inspired by Tunisian cuisine, featuring tender lamb cooked in a flavorful pan-seared tagine.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs lamb shouldercut into 1.5-inch pieces
- β2 tbsp coconut oil
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp coriander
- β1/2 tsp paprika
- β1/2 tsp salt
- β1/4 tsp black pepper
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Heat coconut oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove lamb from pan and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and add onion to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper to pan. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.

Add browned lamb back to pan and stir to combine with spice mixture.

Transfer lamb mixture to a preheated oven and bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until lamb is cooked through.
