Pan-Seared Pork Dumplings
A delicious and easy-to-make Japanese-inspired dish featuring pork dumplings seared to perfection. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g Pork shoulder, ground
- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Waterfor wrapping dumplings
- β2 tbsp Soy saucefor serving
- β1 tbsp Sesame oilfor pan-searing
- β20-25 Dumpling wrappers

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

2. Lay a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface. Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.

3. Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper into a half-moon shape, pressing the edges together to seal the dumpling.

4. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and pork mixture.

5. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.

6. When the oil is hot, add a few dumplings to the pan (do not overcrowd). Pan-fry until the bottoms are golden brown.

7. Flip the dumplings over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
