Filipino Kabanos Skewers
A fusion of Filipino and Eastern European flavors, these skewers are perfect for a quick and easy snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 package Kabanos
- β1 pound Peppery Filipino Pork
- β1 package Skewerswooden or metal, 10-12 inches long
- β1 cup Pineapplefresh, chunks
- β1 cup Onionfresh, chunks
- β1 cup Tomatofresh, chunks
- β1/4 cup Bamboo sauce
- β2 tablespoons Patis
- β2 cloves Garlic

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.

3. Thread 1-2 pieces of kabanos onto each skewer.

4. Thread 1-2 pieces of peppery Filipino pork onto each skewer.

5. Thread 1 piece of pineapple, onion, and tomato onto each skewer.

6. Brush bamboo sauce on both sides of the kabanos and pork.

7. Grill skewers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until kabanos is lightly charred.

8. Brush with patis during last minute of grilling.
