Norwegian Smørrebrød
A classic Scandinavian open-faced sandwich originating from Denmark, typically made with rye bread and topped with a variety of ingredients. This version features smoked salmon and a fresh tomato.
Ingredients

- ●8 oz smoked norwegian salmonpreferably from Norway
- ●2 medium fresh tomato
- ●2 tbsp flaky butter
- ●none toast
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Add the flaky butter and let it melt.

Place the peppery rye bread slices in the skillet and toast for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Meanwhile, slice the smoked norwegian salmon into thin pieces.

Once the bread is toasted, place a slice on a plate.

Top the bread with a few pieces of smoked norwegian salmon.

Slice the fresh tomato and place a slice on top of the salmon.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
