Spanish Paella
A traditional Spanish dish made with saffron-infused rice, chicken, and seafood.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Spanish rice
- β1 1/2 pounds chicken breast
- β2 cups peppery chicken broth
- β2 teaspoons flaky smoked paprika
- β1/4 teaspoon spanish saffron
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 red bell pepper
- β1 can artichoke hearts
Instructions

Heat oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan.

Add garlic and red bell pepper to pan and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add rice to pan and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add chicken broth, smoked paprika, and saffron to pan. Stir to combine.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

Add chicken back to pan and cook until heated through.

Stir in artichoke hearts and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
