Uruguayan Beef Casserole
A hearty beef casserole dish from Uruguay, made with tender beef and a rich, flavorful sauce.
Ingredients

- β1 cup 1 cup beef broth
- β1 cup 1 cup casseroleCrushed
- β1 tsp 1 tsp dried oregano

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

In a large Dutch oven, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the beef broth, casserole, oregano, paprika, and pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly.
