Peruvian Nduja Anticuchos
Spicy Peruvian-style beef heart skewers infused with nduja for a bold twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef heartCut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons NdujaSpicy Italian sausage spread
- β2 teaspoons Peruvian seasoningOr substitute with a mix of cumin, coriander, and paprika
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 small Red onionThinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Fresh cilantroChopped
- β2 tablespoons Lime juiceFreshly squeezed
- β1/2 teaspoon SaltTo taste
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepperTo taste

1. In a large bowl, whisk together Peruvian seasoning, garlic, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the beef heart pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

5. Thread the marinated beef heart pieces onto skewers.

6. Brush the grill or grill pan with oil to prevent sticking.
