Kashmiri Khichdi

- β2 cups Khichdisplit red lentils and rice
- β1 teaspoon Kashmiriground Kashmiri chili powder
- β1 tablespoon Piquantghee or vegetable oil
- β1 teaspoon Indianground cumin
- βto taste Salt
- β4 cups Water

Instructions

Heat the piquant in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the Indian and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute.

Add the khichdi and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
