Turkish Meat Kofte
A flavorful and textured Turkish dish featuring meat kofte, served with a side of piquant sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground meat (beef & lamb mix)80/20 ratio
- β2 tablespoons Icli pepper paste
- β2 teaspoons Turkish spices
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- β1 medium Onionfinely chopped

1. Preheat the pan to medium-high heat.

2. Using your hands, mix ground meat, icli pepper paste, Turkish spices, salt, black pepper, and breadcrumbs in a bowl.

3. Gradually add chopped onion and continue mixing until everything is well combined.

4. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meat kofte (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter).

5. Add a small amount of oil to the preheated pan and sear the meat kofte until browned on all sides.

6. Transfer the kofte to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes.
