Thai Fish Noodle Soup
A spicy Thai-inspired noodle soup made with flaky fish and German sausage. Serve with a side of crusty bread for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce
- β6 slices German sausage (Bratwurst)canned or store-bought
- β8 ounces Noodlesrice noodles or egg noodles
- β2 Piquant peppersdiced and seeded
- β4 fillets Fish (cod or tilapia)fresh or frozen
- β1 can Coconut milkfull-fat or low-fat
- β4 cups Waterchicken or fish stock optional
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepperto taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced peppers and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the fish sauce, coconut milk, water, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions.
