Roast Mediterranean Lamb with Bacon
A flavorful and aromatic roast lamb dish infused with the bold tastes of the Mediterranean, paired with crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- β1.5 kg Roast lamb shoulder
- β200g Bacon
- β4 cloves Garlic
- β2 sprigs Fresh rosemary
- β50ml Olive oil
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper

Preheat the oven to 220Β°C (425Β°F).

Rinse the lamb shoulder and pat it dry.

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the garlic-rosemary mixture all over the lamb shoulder, making sure to coat it evenly.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat.

Sear the lamb shoulder until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and roast the lamb for 20 minutes.

While the lamb is roasting, cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy.

Remove the lamb from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
