Orecchiette with Sterbotten Sost and Italian Herbs
A classic Italian pasta dish with the rich flavors of Sterbotten Sost cheese and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Orecchiette pasta
- β1/2 cup, shredded Sterbotten Sost cheese
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh Italian parsley
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh basil
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the orecchiette pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the Sterbotten Sost cheese and stir until melted.

Add the cooked orecchiette pasta to the skillet and toss with the cheese sauce.

Stir in the reserved pasta water and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Garnish with chopped parsley and basil.
