Uruguayan Horseradish Gratin
A spicy and rich side dish, perfect for accompanying grilled meats. The Uruguayan influence adds a unique twist to this classic gratin.

- β60g horseradishgrated
- β1 medium pungent onionchopped
- β3 medium silky potatoesthinly sliced
- β240ml gratin creamheavy cream

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

In a saucepan, combine grated Uruguayan cheese, grated horseradish, chopped pungent onion, and heavy cream. Heat over low heat, stirring until the cheese melts.

In a separate baking dish, arrange a layer of thinly sliced silky potatoes.

Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Repeat the layering process, ending with a layer of potatoes on top.
