Welsh Rarebit
A traditional British dish made with melted cheese sauce served over toasted bread.

Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
- β1 cup Welsh rarebit sauce (or substitute)
- β4 slices Toasted bread

1. Butter four slices of bread.

2. In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

3. Add the flour and whisk to make a smooth paste.

4. Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously.

5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated cheddar cheese until melted.
