Smoky Tuna Tagine

- β2 Smoky tuna steakspreferably sashimi-grade
- β2 tablespoons Portuguese tagine spice blendor a mix of cumin, coriander and cinnamon
- β1 medium Quenched red onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium Quenched red bell pepperthinly sliced
- β2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oilfor cooking
- βto taste Salt and pepperfor seasoning
- βchopped Fresh cilantrofor garnish

Instructions

Heat oil in a large clay or ceramic tagine over medium heat.

Add sliced onion and bell pepper and cook until tender.

Add tuna steaks and cook until browned on both sides.

Add tagine spice blend and cook for 1-2 minutes.
