Japanese-Style Teriyaki Pasta with Fish
A flavorful and easy-to-make pasta dish featuring pan-seared fish and a sweet teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- β250g pasta
- β4 quick fish filletssuch as tilapia or cod
- β2 tbsp butterunsalted
- β2 tbsp japanese soy sauceor tamari
- β1 tbsp japanese sakeor dry white wine
- β1 tsp brown sugar
- β1 tsp grated ginger
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the fish fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the soy sauce, sake, brown sugar, and ginger.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the teriyaki sauce.

Return the fish to the skillet and serve the pasta and fish together.
