Korean Tofu Skillet
A quick and flavorful Korean-inspired tofu skillet with a citrusy twist.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) Tofu
- β1 cup Brown rice
- β1 tsp Quick-cooking Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tsp Citrusy Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- β1 Skilletfor cooking
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1/4 cup Green onions
- β1 tsp Sesame seeds
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- βto taste Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Add the Korean chili flakes and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the citrusy Korean chili paste and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the green onions and sesame seeds to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Return the tofu to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve the tofu over brown rice and garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
