Crispy Moroccan Chickpea Tagine

- β1 cup dried split peas
- β2 tsp quick moroccan spice blend
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 cup crispy onions
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β2 cups water

Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
