Keto German Slider
A keto version of a classic German burger, using a dense meat patty and topped with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Dense German-Style Ground Beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β1 head Lettuceiceberg or romaine
- β4 oz Cheddar Cheeselow-carb, full-fat
- β1 medium Onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium Tomatothinly sliced
- β4 buns Burger Bun (low-carb)made from almond flour or coconut flour
- β4 tbsp Mayonnaisemake sure it's sugar-free
- β2 tbsp Mustardmake sure it's sugar-free

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. Form the ground beef into 4 equal-sized patties.

3. Season the patties with salt and pepper.

4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160Β°F.

5. Meanwhile, toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster.

6. Assemble the sliders by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a cheese slice, a beef patty, a tomato slice, and finally the top bun.
