Turkish Pilaf Bread Bites
A crunchy and flavorful Turkish-inspired snack made with crumbly bread, crispy quick fix, and savory pilaf.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Crumbly breadpreferably day-old bread
- β1/4 cup Quick fixsuch as panko or breadcrumbs
- β1/2 cup Turkish pilafstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor frying
- βto taste Saltfor seasoning
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyfor garnish

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cut the crumbly bread into 1-inch cubes and place on a baking sheet.

Drizzle the olive oil over the bread cubes and toss to coat.

Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

In a large skillet, heat the quick fix over medium heat.

Add the Turkish pilaf to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

Remove from heat and stir in salt to taste.

To assemble the bread bites, place a spoonful of the pilaf mixture onto a toasted bread cube.

Repeat with the remaining bread and pilaf mixture.
