Crispy Fritters with Yautia Mash
A delicious Caribbean-inspired snack using yautia and fritters. Enjoy as a side dish or as a light meal. The crispy fritters add a satisfying crunch to the creamy yautia mash.
Ingredients
- ●2 large tubers, peeled and chopped Yautia
- ●1 cup, crushed into crumbs Fritters
- ●1 cup, grated Quick American Cheese
- ●2 cloves, minced Pungent Garlic
- ●1/4 cup Fix Olive Oil

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Boil the chopped yautia until tender, then mash.

In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed fritters, grated cheese, and minced garlic.

Add the olive oil to the fritter mixture and stir to combine.

Fold the fritter mixture into the mashed yautia until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
