Argentinian-Style Toasted Masarepa Cakes with Resinous Glaze
Crispy toasted masarepa cakes with a sweet and sticky resinous glaze, inspired by Japanese flavors and Argentinian ingredients.

- β1/4 cup resinous honey
- β1/4 cup argentinian-style bread crumbs
- β2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- β2 large eggs
- β1/4 cup milk
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine masarepa, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

3. Stir in toasted sesame seeds and argentinian-style bread crumbs.

4. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop masarepa mixture into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Flatten each scoop slightly with a spatula.

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

7. While cakes are baking, prepare resinous glaze by whisking together resinous honey and vegetable oil.
