Jamaican Steak Skillet
Quick and delicious Jamaican inspired steak skillet recipe with a flavorful blend of spices.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs skirt steakcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 skilletlarge
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flourfor dusting steak
- β2 tbsp jamaican jerk seasoningstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp coconut oilfor cooking
- β1 onionmedium, sliced
- β1 bell peppermedium, sliced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup cherry tomatoeshalved

Season the steak with jerk seasoning and dust with flour.

Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned.

Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until tender.
