Cassoulet with White Beans and Savory Sausage
A classic French dish made with white beans, savory sausage, and a crispy crust. Perfect for a hearty dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups, drained and rinsed White Beans
- β1 pound, sliced Savory Sausage
- β2 cups Quick Cassoulet Broth
- β1 loaf French Baguette
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 teaspoon, dried Thyme
- βto taste Salt and Pepper

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the sausage from the pot and set aside.

Add the white beans, cassoulet broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.

Return the sausage to the pot and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice the French baguette into 1-inch slices.

After 30 minutes, remove the pot from the oven and top the bean mixture with the baguette slices.
