Gluten-Free Japanese-Style Tofu Ramen
A flavorful and easy-to-make gluten-free Japanese-inspired ramen dish featuring pan-seared tofu and savory broth.
Ingredients
- β1 block firm tofudrained and cut into small cubes
- β2 tablespoons shoyugluten-free soy sauce alternative
- β1 package ramen noodlesgluten-free
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor pan-frying tofu
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped, for garnish
- β1 tablespoon sesame seedstoasted, for garnish

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Add 2 tablespoons of shoyu and stir to combine.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

To assemble the ramen, place noodles in a bowl, then add the pan-seared tofu, and pour the hot shoyu broth over the top.
