Smoked Chicken Tagine
A flavorful Moroccan-inspired stew made with smoked chicken, quick-cooking ingredients, and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- β2 lbs Smoked Chicken Thighs
- β1 can (14 oz) Quick-cooking Chickpeas
- β2 tbsp Algerian Chermoula
- β2 sprigs Tarragon
- β1 cup, halved Grapes

Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Stir in the chermoula, tarragon, and chickpeas.

Return the chicken to the pot and add the grapes.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together, about 20-25 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh tarragon if desired.
