Smoked Lamb Kebabs
Tender lamb skewers marinated in a smoky blend of spices and grilled to perfection. Perfect for a summer evening.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Lamb shoulder, cut into 1-inch piecespreferably with the fat still intact
- β2 tablespoons Quick kebab spice blendavailable at most supermarkets
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilor more as needed
- β1 teaspoon Smoked paprikaoptional, but adds a nice depth of flavor
- β2 cloves Garlic, mincedor more to taste
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β1 teaspoon Saltor more to taste

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together the kebab spice blend, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic, lemon juice, and salt.

Add the lamb pieces to the marinade and toss to coat.

Let the lamb marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Thread the lamb pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Grill the kebabs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the lamb reaches an internal temperature of 145Β°F.
