Dutch Toast with Quick Caramel
A twist on the classic Dutch treat, topped with a sweet and gooey caramel sauce.

- β4 slices toast
- β1 cup quicksugar
- β1 cup sweetheavy cream
- β4 tablespoons gooeyunsalted butter

Instructions

Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the pan.

Add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of heavy cream to the pan.

Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter until melted.

Dip each slice of toast into the caramel sauce and top with the sauce.
