German Apple Strudel
A classic German dessert made with apples, sugar, and pastry. Perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- β2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup buttermelted
- β1/2 cup granulated sugar
- β3-4 applespeeled and sliced
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1 package strudel dough
- β1/2 cup confectioners sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Unroll the strudel dough and cut into 3 equal pieces.

Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

Add the sliced apples to the sugar mixture and toss to coat.

Place a piece of dough on a flat surface and brush with melted butter.

Place a third of the apple mixture onto the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

Roll the dough into a tight log and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.

Repeat with the remaining dough and apple mixture.

Brush the tops of the strudels with melted butter and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
