Turkish Fish Borek
A Turkish-inspired dish made with flaky fish filling wrapped in a crispy borek pastry. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- ●4 Fish FilletsFirm white fish like cod or tilapia work well
- ●1 package Borek PastryAvailable in most middle eastern markets
- ●1/2 OnionFinely chopped
- ●2 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●1/4 cup ParsleyChopped
- ● SaltTo taste
- ● Black PepperTo taste
- ● Turkish Red Pepper FlakesOptional, for some heat

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the fish into small pieces and set aside.

In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the fish to the pan and cook until opaque.

Mix in the parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Roll out the borek pastry and cut into squares.

Place a spoonful of the fish mixture onto one half of each square.

Brush the edges with water and fold the other half over to form a triangle.

Press the edges together to seal the borek.
