Greek Baklava with Honey and Walnuts
A traditional Greek pastry dessert made with layers of phyllo, nuts, and honey. It's a sweet treat that's sure to satisfy your cravings.
Ingredients
- β1 package (usually 16-20 sheets) phyllo doughthaw according to package instructions
- β1 cup chopped walnuts
- β1 cup honey
- β1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- β1/2 cup sugar
- β1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- β1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- β1 cup soya milkfor brushing phyllo dough

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Thaw phyllo dough according to package instructions.

Cut phyllo sheets in half lengthwise.

In a bowl, mix together walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.

Brush phyllo sheets with soya milk and layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Repeat layering phyllo and walnut mixture until all ingredients are used up.

Top with melted butter and fold phyllo sheets to create a triangle shape.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
