Lamb Koftas with Qazi Spice
A flavorful and aromatic lamb koftas dish with the warm, sweet, and slightly spicy notes of qazi spice, served with a crispy bake.
Ingredients
- β500g lamb mince
- β2 tsp qazi spice blend
- β1 tsp five spice powder
- β1 minced onion
- β3 cloves minced garlic
- β1 egg
- β100g portuguese bread crumbs
- β1 tsp bake seasoning

Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

In a large bowl, combine lamb mince, qazi spice blend, five spice powder, onion, garlic, and egg. Mix well.

Add bread crumbs and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Cover mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Shape mixture into 8-10 koftas. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.

Transfer koftas to a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy.
