Tunisian Chicken Tagine
A flavorful North African stew made with chicken, spices, and dried fruits. Perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs chicken
- β2 teaspoons tunisian spice blend tunisian
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin hot
- β1/2 teaspoon ground ginger energizing
- β1 cup chicken broth cream
- β1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional) cheese
- β1 large onion, chopped tagine
Instructions

Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until browned, then remove from the pot.

Add the tunisian spice blend, cumin, and ginger to the pot. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken broth to the pot and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the pot and bring to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, until the chicken is cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
