Smoky Jamaican Stew
A flavorful and hearty stew inspired by the Caribbean, perfect for a cold evening. This dish combines the rich flavors of smoky spices with the brightness of mulukhiyah.
Ingredients
- β2 cups mulukhiyah
- β1 tsp smoky
- β1 tsp jamaican
- β1 can (14 oz) stew
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 medium carrots
- β2 medium potatoes
- β2 tbsp tomato paste
- β4 cups vegetable broth
Instructions

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the carrots and potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.

Stir in the smoky and jamaican spices and cook for 1 minute.

Add the stew, tomato paste, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
