Pan-Seared Fish Bao
A keto-friendly dish featuring pan-seared fish served in a delicate bao with a hint of Asian flavors.
Ingredients
- β2 fillets Fish ( Cod or Tilapia )Fresh and sustainable
- β4 pieces BaoHomemade or store-bought
- β2 tablespoons Coconut OilFor pan-searing
- β1 tablespoon GingerMinced
- β1 tablespoon Soy Sauce (low-carb)Make sure to check the carb content
- β1 tablespoon Sesame SeedsFor garnish

1. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat.

2. Add coconut oil to the pan and swirl it around.

3. Add the fish fillets to the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

4. While the fish is cooking, toast the bao by grilling it lightly or warming it in the oven.

5. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the pan and place it on a plate.

6. In the same pan, add the minced ginger and soy sauce.

7. Stir the mixture for about 1 minute or until the ginger is fragrant.

8. To assemble the dish, place a piece of toasted bao on a plate, add a piece of pan-seared fish, and drizzle the ginger-soy sauce on top.
