Vietnamese Chicken and Rice Bowl
A flavorful and aromatic Vietnamese-inspired dish featuring chicken, rice, and bold spices.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Vietnamese hot sauce
- β1 pound Quang chicken breast
- β2 cups Resinous rice
- β1 medium Red onion
- β1/4 cup Fresh cilantro
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the chicken breast and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes per side.

3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

5. Add the sliced red onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

6. Add the Vietnamese hot sauce and stir to combine.

7. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

8. Fluff the cooked resinous rice with a fork and serve alongside the chicken.
