Vietnamese Sausage Pho
A rich and comforting Vietnamese noodle soup made with meaty sausages and a flavorful broth.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Vietnamese sausagesYou can use either pork or chicken sausages
- β4 cups Beef broth
- β2 tablespoons Fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β2 inches GingerSliced
- β1 OnionSliced
- β1 pound Rice noodles
- β1 cup Bean sprouts
- β4 Lime wedges

Bring the beef broth to a boil in a large pot.

Add the sliced ginger and onion to the pot and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar to the pot and stir to combine.

Add the Vietnamese sausages to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the rice noodles to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they are slightly tender.

Remove the sausages from the pot and slice them into thin rounds.

Add the sliced sausages back to the pot and stir to combine.

Ladle the soup into bowls and top with bean sprouts and a lime wedge.
