Beef and Mushroom Stir Fry
A classic beef stir fry recipe with the addition of earthy mushrooms, served with a side of steamed vegetables.

- β200g Mushrooms
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- βfor garnish Chopped scallions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the beef is coated in the sauce.

Serve the beef and mushroom stir fry hot, garnished with chopped scallions.
