Classic British Beef Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful stir fry recipe made with tender beef and a variety of British vegetables.
Ingredients
- β250g Beef (sirloin) strips
- β200g Mushrooms (button)
- β150g Mixed British vegetables (carrots, peas, onions)
- β2 tbsp Stir fry sauce
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β Salt and pepper
- β2 cups Rich beef stock

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add the mixed British vegetables to the pan and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the beef to the pan and pour in the stir fry sauce. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the beef stock to the pan and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
